The Corso, Northlakes Town Centre

Annual Environmental Management Seminar
Andrew Martin represented ASK at the 2nd Annual Environmental Management Seminar which included presentations on environmental legislation, weather forecasting, energy efficiency, water management, fire-ants, and an update from the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection on key priorities. Group work sessions were held regarding current and future environmental matters.
The seminar was opened by the Hon Dr Steven Miles MP, Minister for Environment and Heritage Protection and Minister for National Parks and the Great Barrier Reef and the key note speaker was Professor Will Steffen an expert in climate change who is also a researcher at the Australian National University, Canberra. Andrew enjoyed it thoroughly and found it to be a most informative event. www.ccaa.com.au
